TIME MACHINE POST 3 2020 AUGUST 1 Cyrila Rose and Marie Davis show the curtain pieces made at an art workshop I conducted at Brevoort Senior Center in Brooklyn, NY. The program was called Harborview Visual Arts, and his director was legendary Wylie Lucero. It was hosted and funded by the New York City Housing Authority. As part of the workshop, students had to create first a color-pencil drawing on paper using the same grid as base-structure, later the drawing was made in a larger size with acrylic paint. Finally, students choose fabric colors, cut, fold, and sew. The pieces were exhibited at the 2015 annual Harborview Visual Arts Exhibition at Rutgers Community Center in Chinatown. Cyrila and Marie were the only two senior students to finish their pieces, which they kept. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ….
