This brochure was the first of a series of pamphlets conceived by Galería Chilena’s “Design Department” and it was printed on the occasion of the exhibition GCH#3 – Juan Céspedes y Rogrigo Galecio, held at a commercial loft space located in the Barrio Brasil, in downtown Santiago. Using social mobility strategy and personal contacts the super low budget artist-run space managed to obtain free or almost free elements that expanded their critical and entrepreneurial propaganda. Plotter signs, spaces for exhibiting, and in this case offset printing, using the empty spaces left in large format plates that mostly contained CD and DVD booklets and covers, quietly infiltrating the music and film industry. Another important aspect of this brochure is that it contains GCH manifesto, a text that described its short history (until then only 3 months) and simultaneously proclaimed the space’s interests and intentions. More design examples will be added to this section in the near future.
